you still use on a regular basis. Home or work.Mine is a 1940's radio I use every day. The sound quality is superior, only problem is I can't get all stations.

An ironframe upright honkytonk piano which was bought second hand in 1904 and a matching cabinet with stained glass window on the front door to keep the sheet music in.and the matching piano stool too

I did have a 1958 Sunbeam Cake mixer, but replaced that in the last year or so with a new one

. It was still working, but the small glass bowl (the one I used the most) slid out of the cupboard when I was getting something else out and broke on the tiles. It tripped the power cut out switch sometimes also.

My Epilady circa 1980s that still rips the hairs out of my legs and until recently my 1970's Mason and Pearson hair brush that recently gave up the ghost.

My house was built in 1910, so there are quite few "old" items used daily eg the front door and windows

My son's pyrex baby bottle, steadiflow brand. I use it in the kitchen as a measuring cup.

I offered it to him as a keepsake but he didn't see the sentimental value of it so I kept it!

Not very old I guess, circa early 60's I believe.

An old sewing box, made from straw and with little compartments inside.

It was my mothers.

Still has a heap of old buttons that she had kept in there too.

Mind you, I am not a sewer so it is only opened if I need to replace a button or do something simple.

Oops, I have remembered something.

An old camphor box that was brought out from Asia in the late 40s. I store spare blankets in there.

I used it about 4 weeks ago. A cast iron bed that has a Birmingham brass name plate, a cast iron bed. A brass knob became dislodged and my DD and I discovered a piece of newspaper dated 1920's within the bedpost.

It was my great grandmother's and travelled from England about 1860 to a Goulburn graziers property.

I live in a house that was built in 1886.

I sleep in a bed that was made in 1860. I have wondered how many people may have passed away on the bed and in the house....

The house I live in built in 1926.

I wear my late mothers wedding ring from when she married in 1945.

My engagement ring was my husbands grandmothers so it's about 100+ years old.

My grandmas tea cup, which was part of a wedding present set in the 1920s. I still use it occasionally when I'm playing ladies.

Must admit I love old houses, so much character and history .... I often look at the old worn wooden door step that leads to the back verandah and wonder how many other people have used it before me.

I think most ppl have old things they love to use.

My favourite knife is old (not sure how old) wooden handled Solingen. Not sure what the blade is, I am thinking plain steel because if I don't dry it properly it rusts. I use it for vegie preparation, carving meat, and sometimes at the table. I love it.

This is my sewing box. It was my grandmas. It's just an old biscuit tin, I have no idea how old it is, but I just found out the company dissolved in 1961, so it must be at least that old and I found an identical one listed on an antique site.
