    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have to take some photos off my wife's phone - she hasn't got any cables and can't buy them anymore.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;She has Bluetooth on her phone - I have set the phone's bluetooth to activation ON and Visibility ON.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I bought a USB / Bluetooth dongle for my PC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am running Windows98.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have put the dongle into one of my USB ports - the comuter recognises it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have done a scan on the phone - it says no devices found.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There's obviously something I have to do on the PC - but ....&amp;nbsp;Where do I go from here????&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TIA&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for that. Did it. PC finds phone OK. But when I try to accept file on PC and send file on phone - it comes up transferring ....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and the percentage thingy ...... and eventually falls on it's face ... transfer terminated because conection lost.... tried it several times and the same thing happens.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, tried to transfer the photos from her phone to my phone - similar thing happens. Why, I hear you ask? Well my phone has a cable and if I can get the photos off her phone onto mine then I can retransfer them to PC via cable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once they recognise each other, shouldn't I be able to &lt;EM&gt;see&lt;/EM&gt; the phone through ordinary explore - like another drive? Or is that something totally different?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I've asked at Telstra shop, Dick Smith and 2 computer shops for cable - took the phone in so they could have a look - all of them say they haven't got cables because the phone is so old.
