How The Saudis Spend Your Grocery Money

Every time you buy groceries from the supermarket it’s most likely you’re paying an Islamic tax to the government of Saudi Arabia.

Today, around 80 per cent of supermarket food produce from Australia’s largest and most iconic brands are Halal Certified. An estimated 500 Australian based food companies pay this Islamic tax which is passed on to you at the checkout.

This tax, masquerading as Halal Certification, is a modern version of an Islamic tax called ‘Jizya’. It was first imposed by Muslims who had conquered non-Muslims, who became subservient to Muslims, but did not wish to convert to Islam.

They paid the tax in order to have their lives spared and were then known as dhimmis. This institution has its roots in the origins of Islam, 1400 years ago.

Halal Certification fees can be viewed as a modern implementation of the Jizya tax on dhimmis via the supermarket shelf.

Most companies are told by Islamic Halal Certifiers, that this is a fee to grow their export markets.

The food producers who are coerced into paying these certification fees, have no clue or real understanding of the history of this Islamic tax or that they are being used as Jizya collectors (few food producers would have heard of the term).

The thing is, where does the cost of this certification get allocated because sure as hell the company doesn't wear it.

I would reckon it gets passed onto the consumer in the form of higher prices.

And, what did all the Muslims do BEFORE Halal certification became more prominent in Australia ????

Has anyone done a survey of what they purchased.

My guess would be the same products as before it had Halal certification.

Pickering..LOL....repeat articles with the same topic over and over again, same misinfornation ( example from his past articles on halal certification publishing an extra made up sentence with religious connotations on the dicksmithfoods halal certification statement that was not part of the original statement ( as confirmed by dicksmithfoods).

The anti halal hysteria movement was started about 5 years ( via social media, blogs, websites e.g. Australian Defence League [now shut down?] ) to be promoted by anti-Muslim groups. Fact.

Religious bigots - Yes. No objection to Kosher certification ( incl Pickering) nor Sanatarium products owned by Seventh Day Adventists (who don't have to produce financial statements being a church/charity). Therefor objecting to halal certification only is religious bigotry.

The MAJORITY of the threads about Abbott/Govt are about his failed policies and back flips ... Not about his choice of swimwear nor his tufts of hair, nor his glasses nor the shape of his suit jacket, nor about his partners whereabouts ( that sounds a bit like ALL those Gillard threads actually doesn't it?).

I can't understand how those that relentlessly started threads about Julia G picking on her personal attributes mostly, now cry when someone occasionally post something personal about Abbott. Oh, what short memories some have.

Why did you post this halal/Pickering article? Looking for a bit of controversy in your threads? Went for an easy target?

I have no intention of checking food for halal labels, nor does the majority of Australians. Aust busisness owners make their own commercial decisions....not nutters running anti campaigns.
