<img id="smileysurprised" class="emoticon emoticon-smileysurprised" src="https://community.ebay.com.au/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.png" alt="Smiley Surprised" title="Smiley Surprised" />) xxx and ready for the coming new year?</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>We've gone down to a slow motion towards 2015, but the garden is looking good, apart from the potted colour we planted far too high in the soil and will change this afternoon .. not quite sure how that happened but the poor things are shrieking out for help and struggling to stay upright .. sigh!!&nbsp;&nbsp; All in all though (*waves to Bushie and Aps*) all has improved.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Not the fuchsia though .....&nbsp; <img id="smileysad" class="emoticon emoticon-smileysad" src="https://community.ebay.com.au/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.png" alt="Smiley Sad" title="Smiley Sad" /> .... it gave up the ghost, mostly all the leaves went brittle and black&nbsp;and it looked ghastly.&nbsp; Suspect the "treatment" we gave it made it impossible to save, though we did follow the instructions to the letter.&nbsp;&nbsp; So, we have pulled it out, dug out all the soil below it, replaced it with new soil and compost and it's looking really good with&nbsp;one advanced flower&nbsp;seedling (one that&nbsp;is not too high) ... so now we wait to see what happens.&nbsp; The old soil looked and acted like dust, so something had clearly gone wrong and here's hoping this will make all the difference.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Aps, we've purchased a compost bin, the kind that can be rotated on a spindle and we been putting our peelings etc into it.&nbsp;
