Internet doing strange things?

I am constantly getting an error message: 'this page is not available' and then a few seconds later, it (the page) pops up. Even when I click a link on eBay, it still happens. Anyone else having strange things happening on their internet. It seems really slow to load some pictures too - loads a line at a time from top to bottom.

My internet is fine. But my laptop isn't

I often think I have a slow connection, but then my ipad in the same connection works fine.

Maybe you have overdone your usage allowance?

not likely, I have 50 gigs a month. Telstra line has been down for best part of 3 days - they say they have fixed and tested it but I wouldn't be surprised if it's still a problem.

Mine does that when I'm about to get a drop out , it goes slowly then shows the Page not Available and I have switch off the modem for 5 mins and cross my fingers. But I think you know much more about pooters than I do Youcan , lol, so I'm probably not much help.
