Not a fan particularly of anyone involved in all this, but it might be going a bit far to say Pammy said they were having it off. She has been pretty consistent in denying this from what I can see. She "loves him", but she has a "romantic partner", and it is not Julien.

OK then, well what about the people he exposed and their crimes?????? What do they get??

Having watched Julian Assange’s trial firsthand, can you describe the prevailing atmosphere in the court?

The prevailing atmosphere has been shocking. I say that without hesitation; I have sat in many courts and seldom known such a corruption of due process; this is due revenge. Putting aside the ritual associated with “British justice”, at times it has been evocative of a Stalinist show trial. One difference is that in the show trials, the defendant stood in the court proper. In the Assange trial, the defendant was caged behind thick glass, and had to crawl on his knees to a slit in the glass, overseen by his guard, to make contact with his lawyers. His message, whispered barely audibly through face masks, was then passed by post-it the length of the court to where his barristers were arguing the case against his extradition to an American hellhole.

Yes, icyfroth, he needs to be set free. He deserves an award for exposing what has been done in our name. The biggest criminals on this planet are the ones that rape and plunder and tell the people of their country they're doing it for freedom and democracy. Assaange provided the evidence that woke people up.

London: Julian Assange has arrived at a London court to find out if he is to be extradited to the United States to face charges relating to WikiLeaks publications of a decade ago.

The 49-year-old Australian will hear his fate at London's Old Bailey on Monday evening (AEDT). He has been held at Belmarsh Prison since September 2019.

Assange's fiancee, Stella Moris, arrived at the Old Bailey with Kristinn Hrafnsson, the editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks. The pair arrived around half an hour before the hearing.
Before entering the building, Moris paused and placed a white safety mask on her face. Supporters chanted "Free Julian Assange" as she arrived; she did not make any comment.

District Judge Vanessa Baraitser is set to rule Monday on whether the U.K. should extradite the controversial WikiLeaks founder to the U.S. to face trial on espionage charges. The highly anticipated decision will be announced at 10 a.m. at London’s Old Bailey courthouse.

"Her ruling will then be reviewed by Britain’s home secretary, Priti Patel, who gets to make the final decision.

But the case could still be dragged on for several more months, or even years, if whichever side loses choose to appeal. It’s also possible that Baraitser’s ruling won’t have any impact at all if President Trump intervenes in the case before leaving office on Jan. 20."
