I'm in S.A. (different ballgame at the moment)....but I believe in NSW & Vic (maybe elsewhere) that unless you're double-jabbed, proprietors have the right to refuse entry. Someone from one of those states might be able to clarify...

The State Government has no control over the dole (Unemployment Benefit), it is run and paid by the Federal Government.

The story is unmitigated bull**bleep**.

To the best of my knowledge, Unemployment benefits have not been withheld for those who are unvaccinated.
I do not receive anything from Centrelink but I know folk who do, and a couple of them are unvaccinated. No mention of loss of payment.

I do know that they are banned from eating in a cafe or restaurant, and can’t enter childcare centres, schools, and some retail shops. …. But that all changes December 1st….. then it’s back to life as usual (as best as we can get atm).

If it's true that they are withholding her dole, and clawing money back from her bank account, she may be another victim of the latest iteration of Morrison's Robodebt.

But still nothing to do with vaccination.

I think it is someone just out to stir up trouble.

With Scomo looking more and more like he is on the campaign trail why would the government look to stir up the electorate by withholding the dole from unvaccinated voters? The opposition will almost certainly use the Robodebt fiasco in its campaign strategy for the upcoming election so why would a marketing man like Scomo give them anything more upon which to attack the government?

@rogespeed, you found a video put together by a nutter and posted it here for comment knowing full well the content has no basis in fact. Perhaps the Dan Andrews hater of this forum will post the outrage you may be seeking.

Sounds like a case of someone entering aged care or suddenly under trustee control or the far north regarding some issued with food vouchers rather than cash ( with domestic bills paid prearranged online , forgot what the program is called ) - but no wholesale blocking of bank accounts as per vax status

Does give the very wrong impression to some of those over the pond , which is my concern

Yes i could just imagine the effect of sudden loss of beer money and other luxuries amongst struggle class and the welfare middle class set - however most at least in the plague cities have now been vaxxed
