In spite of the technical difficulties of threads appearing randomly, the caption thread survived to have terrific caption offerings.

I was particularly amused by the John West entry and the bear toes and the lotus position; after counting the votes it came down to two entries on 6 points each (both mentioning toes!), and I made an executive decision.
