How do I send a message

So I only have internet access via my phone.
I have the ebay android app.
I've noticed that now I can compose a message but there is no means by which to send the message.
If I have to use a PC I have to drive thirty two kilometres th the library

There used to be a blue arrow icon for the message to be sent but it no longer exists

Stop using the app.

Access full site ebay via your browser.

I think it's called 'classic'??

In the App theres still the large reply button at the bottom of the message you received. I use it regularly when out and about.

The issue is when you tap on contact seller.
Not when you have already received a message

I have never used the app, but can you contact them through their 'my eBay world' ?

As stawks said, use the classic site.

Scroll to the bottom of a page and it should show there. At the least you will get the mobile version of eBay which, while not the full site, is far more functional than the app. From there you can click on 'classic' again and that should give you the full site.

Sorry, I had my seller head on. Down the bottom of the listing below the feedback ask seller a question, once you have typed some text the send at the top right will go blue.

If it does not change to blue or show the send icon at all then try turning your phone off and on. I find this needs to be done weekly and sometimes more if things don't work correctly.

I am not sure why so many do not like the app. I do find the selling notifications very useful, just wish you could have multiple accounts open at once for notifications.

The problem for me as a seller is the ca-ching is the only useful thing about the app.

It is hard to navigate, doesn't always show recent sales, and is even more buggy than the website.

As mentioned on the boards more than a few times, the app gives misinformation about listings.

i.e. I have seen people complaining that the app told them it was free postage, when in fact, when members checked both the app, and the full site, the full site showed postage was not free at all.

Buyers will loudly argue that they want free postage.

It has been unhelpful to buyers who want a combined invoice, and has forced them to pay for individual purchases.

Just a couple of things I've read on the boards.

The app has been proven to be glitchy.........ergo, don't use the bleedin' thing.

What's wrong with the full site?

From a seller's point of view.....I think the app works...I wouldn't have a clue.

Send icon has returned.
Didn't have to turn my phone off and back on.
Obviously just a glitch

I find the app relatively free of glitches and I'm on it for hours of every day.
The classic site is a total p in the b when on the phone.
Especially as it will often jump to the app when first navigating it
