Accidently bought item

Hi, I accedently bought 2 items on Ebay. It´s the first time I used Ebay and when I was trying to get the items to a shopping cart like a normal web shop , I accidently bought 2 items, because the site is on german and I speak swedish. Later I saw the emails that i have bought the products, but because I don´t have a Paypal account connected to my ebay account and because I have questions about the products, I sent an email to the seller asking to cancel the order.

Now I wonder what´s happening if he doesn´t answer my email and I pay for the products (because of the 4 day paying policy), and he cancel the order the next day? Have I then been paying for nothing or do I get a refund or does he have to send the products? Is there a policy for that scenario?

I also wonder if I have to pay for the items, can I pay even though I don´t have a Paypal connected to the Ebay-account?

Jens , you are asking these questions on the eBay Australian board.

you should contact the seller and ask him to cancel one transaction and you should pay for the other one.

best to ask questions on your own eBay site as all ebays in different countries have slightly different rules.
