If i payed for items from the same seller, why would they ask me for my paypal email address?, its been ages since i sold but im shure the seller has your paypal email address when you pay.

You are right. Your Paypal Email Address appears on the bottom of the Paypal payment advice. Perhaps the seller does not know this.

As a seller I keep buyers' email address (and other details) so I can periodically contact past customers. This is good business practice and I have been doing it for decades.

Just reply to the seller as mentioned above.

Turns out the seller thought i mite want to do transaction outside ebay after i already payed for items!

Sounds like they wanted to add you to a mailing list which is a no-no in ebay.

If a buyer wants info from a seller they can either add them as a favorite or subscribe to newsletters if it's available.

But it's the buyer that decides, not sellers sending unsolicited mail.
