Ebay needs a block button

Does anyone else feel Ebay needs a block button, to block sellers, that are obviously profiteering. I for one am totally sick of having to jump several pages to get to items, that aren't in a mass listing hit by these sellers...

A seller has to make a profit otherwise what's the point of selling?

More info on what you are complaining about might shed some light as I'm all for profiteering.

It's already available.

Go to advanced search and enter sellers ID's to exclude.

I make a profit on what I sell. There'd be no point selling if I didn't. Do you expect sellers to sell at cost price or loss? If cost is an issue, sort your search results to

show lowest price first.

It will only work for the current search you are doing and you would need to save the search for it to work in the

future.

Having an exclude for sellers that you don't want in a search will never happen on a permanent basis as that

would exclude too many sellers,(eBay will not allow that as it would cost them money).

They work on the premise that if you can't find what you are looking for then maybe you'll buy something

else that you have come across whilst searching,(they need the other sellers to show for that to happen).

Yes,you copy and paste the sellers ID into the exclude list.

When I had Microsof Office I had a list of sellers that I used to paste into the box,(they where abot 30 sellers that

flooded the categories).

It's the only way you can make it work if you have lots of sellers that you want to exclude,

I don't mean going to advanced and typing in the seller's id.

I mean in the search bar up top. If I type in 'category -seller's id'

That should work, shouldn't it? If I've only got one, that is

If you go to your search and then scroll down and click on More refinements you can then use that box to exclude

sellers by clicking on seller.

That will bring up:

You need to then click on the square and the circle,(which will then make the exlude "active).

Then just enter the sellers ID into the box and click on the Apply at the bottom,(that's the only way that it

works as far as I know),

My issue is with a particular seller from Japan. They are asking USD$136.00 as a buy it now price, and then USD$47.70 for postage which they estimate will take upto 6 weeks. This is ridiculous,as the said kit I can buy from any one of sellers worldwide for less than their postage costs. This kit is just new to the market, but there is making a genuine return on an item and just plain greed. This habit also extends across ever item category they list in.

I used to sell at Sunday markets.

When faced with "I can buy that cheaper elsewhere"

I replied "Well, you'd be silly to buy it here then" Comprende?

The solution is pretty simple then.

Top-right of the search results is a variety of options for you to select your preferred order.

As you can see, it's a very simple click of the mouse to make it so cheapest total price is displayed first, and most expensive displayed last.
