Paid and Posted Reports

We download and use this report for a couple of reasons;

a). to track paid sales $$$ in a given calendar month for tax records

b). to keep a local archive of our transactions on my local computer.

If I run the report today (1st April) and there were items that were paid yesterday/last night (in March) but that we won't actually mail until today (April), then which month will they appear in once they are marked as posted.

Do they show up in the April report or the March report?

I seem to be getting conflicting results from one month to the next on this one.

Once we finish packing & mailing today I will run both months again to see what the results are this time.

Just wondered if others are using this report and getting random results?
