At least you are only begging for feedback here on the boards where only a tiny minority of buyers will see it (especially on the seller's board), I hope you do not email your buyers asking for feedback, if you do you may get some you would rather not have. If a buyer does not leave feedback it could be because they are mildly displeased so don't leave any feedback, askiing them for it would get you a neg

There were others who came to the boards complainig about being spammed with emails asking for feedback, they were quite often advised to make their displeasure known!

phorum_junkie,

thank you for that explanation - didn't realise that seems to be the par for the course, as they say:

Ask for a f/back - and get a neg because buyer has to register their displeasure!

Still doesn't explain anything really - as that is not normal.

It's normal to feel annoyed just because someone is asking you to leave f/back, there are 10000's of worse things that would cause even a mild annoyance and this isn't one of them.

How hard is to leave a f/back if someone wants it - or to type out a message saying: I don't want to leave you f/back because.....

Then they would't be asked heaps of times as the seller would know the situation and stop asking - point of "annoyance" eliminated!

And imastawka,

I don't preach anything - I am not even religious.

And that was particularly bad example as from what I hear and see in the news - hardly any of the religious proffesion people do as they preach! They do exactly the oposite. The most vile acts of cruelty and dishonesty, and double face hipocricy over the centuries come from religion.

As for proving to you and anyone else on the boards "that I practice what I preach" - that is not even relevant, last thing on my list of priorities in life (in fact, it's not even on the list).

Its not really worth 2 cents anyway.
Back in the good old days when you could write diatribes, it was entertaining to write/read or both. Now, with your limited characters you can barely get a *fast postage, as described* blah blah to that description before you run out of space. hardly worth the effort.
I'd rather have a cup of tea

I guess the first question would be-do you always leave feedback for your buyers?

Some of them might be holding out till they get theirs first.

I did have a laugh at one of the posts where someone said most buyers who want to give a neg don't hold back. Probably true.

But I have also been in the position where I was really, really livid about a couple of purchases but chose to leave nothing rather than give the transactions the rating they deserved. That's because a couple of other transactions with that seller had gone okay.

So I guess, be careful what you wish for!!

Really though, some people give feedback, some don't & asking here on the boards will get you nowhere. Those who never leave feedback probably can't be bothered reading boards either.

It got my back up real quick. He'll get is feedback, but not until 59 days after his purchase. I'll leave feedback when I'm good and ready.
