Changes to defective items policy

I was viewing some posts here last week, and skimmed over a post by a seasoned forum member who stated there will be changes to the defective product policy, is this true?

Could someone explain in plain English what these changes will be?

I sell cheap watches, and I'm constantly border lining the "Premium" seller rating, but never actually get it, even though I ALWAYS replace, or refund every buyer who gets a product that's DOA or has a flat battery etc

whenever there are changes to eBay, usually Autumn and Spring, you can find details by going to the "Announcements" link on your My eBay page. What you get in an announcement is basic information about changes with links that will take you to more detailed information.

eBay usually post an announcement just prior to new changes taking effect. Keep looking at announcements around the start of Feb for updated information about the changes to Defect Policy.
