So why does ebay find the need or is it just GreeD for pop ups to appear under photo's of items, or this new search pop up thing that seems to have installed itself here on EBaY ...

Frustrates the begesus out of me everytime I go to look at a pic to find rotten ads there ...

You make squiilions EBaY .. so please remove this awful troublesome feature .....

well . . . . they said that sellers loved free listings when they used to happen every two months or so . . . . . . and they have introduced free listings for casual sellers . . . . . . and they need a new revenue stream to make up for the lost fees. With more recent freebies being rolled out for sellers (up to 12 pictures etc) expect to see more ads on listings.

Why should it worry me? there have always been ads on the top, and I just ignored them just as I ignore the ones popping up elsewhere.

If you place an ad in a newspaper there will always be other advertising around it.

Hmmm - It sounds like you might have some kind of spyware or malware infection in your web browser.

I don't have ANY popup ads when I surf ebay. There is no "search popup" either.

The only ads are the small ones that just moved from the top of the page to just under the Seller Information on the right side. It's certainly not massively annoying or obtrusive.

What is making you think that there are "pop ups to appear under photo's of items"?

Just had a look at your listings and there are no 'pop - ups' appearing. There are pictures of some of your listings at the bottom and an ad for St. George Bank at the side.

You might want to check your computer for viruses as suggested.
