Have you tried clearing cache and cookies and restarting the browser?

have just found a workaround.....fill in all details except photos - save to drafts - go to drafts and the photos will magically upload....good grief!

No. My photos upload fine. When eBay's server isn't down. Which seems to be the first time I try to make a listing.

A few minutes seems to fix the issue.
