Combined invoice, is it still available?

Does anyone know how to set up combined invoice option?

I had it previously all set up and now seems to have gone.

It should still be possible, as I asked for combined postage only recently...

Thanks that was what I had set up, but she had trouble, first cos she was on mobile and then when she tried on laptop ebay kept asking her to pay so she did.

I will forward a refund.

I have found it can be down to buyer error and with the time you invest explaining it to them it works out easier to just refund the difference later.

Yes understand, some buyers are easier especially if a bit more experienced on the site.

We have come to an agreement that i will refund the second lot of post so all is well. Just wish they would fix the mobile app so that all bases are covered.

My understanding from buyers & my own observations is that they can't request combined postage if they are using a mobile, laptop, app etc.. Everytime a buyer has had problems they have been using one of these devices/apps. Anyone using a PC has no problems.

Yes agree, very hard to explain that to customer when they are attempting to save some $'s and nothing works.

We as sellers, seem to be the ones who bear the brunt of their disappointment or worse anger, when really out of our control.

We were lucky in that they were quite accommodating and although frustrated they bought and paid for their items and trusted us to do the refund.

I am posting their purchase this morning, and have refunded postage.

Just keep in mind when you refund the postage balance, Ebay do not refund you on the final value fee.

It's the reason they have refused to fix the lack of a combined invoice option for mobiles and laptops.

I recently refunded an overseas buyer who was having trouble, refunding $25 on $50 post paid for two $7 items combined. Ebay kept the fees on the $50 post (plus international fee), meaning I was out of pocket overall. It's a joke.

Yes we do realise that eBay keep a fee.

Annoying, but I would rather lose a little on the refund than the sale.

This was a domestic purchase so not a lot to worry about for us.

(Would probably process a bit differently if it was International sale. )
