DSR Faulty for my feedback

About 3 days ago my sales slumped on this account, and I noticed my DSR Rating for Accurate description is now blank with the others at 5 still like this one was before.

I did some tests with my other accounts matching the same add same price and got sales easily. 3 ebay reps in India or wherever can't fix it or even understand what's the problem. Does anyone know how it went from 5 to blank on a flawless selling account? Cheers

Your other DSRs only have 10 ratings, so it's possible your description one only had 9, so has dropped off for now. The stars only show when you have more than 10 ratings. Not everyone leaves stars for each thing. While I don't doubt your descriptions are OK, one buyer may have not been 100% happy with a description, so instead of trashing your stars, just chose not to leave one for the description. Therefore, it's less than 10.

Hi, thanks for the info, ebay didn't even know that. We'll see if corrects as i'm a power seller on other accounts but ebay sales on this have just resumed. I believe it's costing heaps if sales. Thank you

I was under the impression that if a buyer didn't fill in the DSR's then the seller automatically got a "5" for that transaction.

As far as I'm aware, if they don't leave stars for one, then the seller gets nothing for that category.

Your account you originally posted with has had 27 sales in the last 2 months, so I doubt it's costing you heaps of sales. 2 of my accounts haven't had stars showing for over a year and it hasn't affected sales at all. I don't show stars because most buyers don't bother leaving feedback these days, so no stars to be seen.

It could just be that buyers are buying from your other accounts.

Can't remember the last time I clicked on stars.

Buyers don't read descriptions, let alone star ratings IMO

I had actually forgotten about stars, because like you, I never look at them. I look at any negs and neutrals for a seller I may buy from, and that's it. Stars are like sooooo last year!
