Hi browsing through perfume sales on ebay and confused because postage was with Aust post satchels and some smaller items were in a letter. I was under the impression that perfume was a prohibited substance .

I checked the Aust Post website and it does say it is prohibited .Does anyone know of any thing to the contrary.

As I would like to perhaps list some cheers

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you need a dangerous goods licence to be able to post perfumes.

My understanding is you need one to transport it . To send you will need a contract with someone who does. A contract would usually be for sending a few thousand per year. Eparcel will allow you to send some dangerous goods but you need to commit to a contract and if you fall short they will end the contract.
