Hi there folks,

A potential buyer has agreed to buy 5 items and asked me to send him an invoice. This has all been done through eBay emails. I cannot see where to raise one invoice for the items. Note: there is nothing annotated on the listings.

be careful.

If they are asking you to send an invoice to their email without having actually bought the items on eBay, then you might get scammed.

Tell them to hit the Buy-Now link on fixed priced items, or bid on auctions.

Only once they have bought will you be able to invoice them. Have them pay through eBay as well.

Resist the temptation to try to negotiate a sale off eBay. These usually end with faked PayPal or PayID receipts being emailed to the seller. Then they want you to send the items. If you question them as to why the funds aren't yet in your account, they will say something like "eBay are holding the funds in Escrow until you upload shipping details".

What I have described above is a worse case scenario ... but many have fallen for the scam I have described. Then they expect eBay to do something about it. Go figure.
