Recently I found it is charged double or even triple when I print postage label from ebay in comparing to directly pay through post office or sendle webside. Why?

If you have incorrect data (larger/heavier) in your prefilled weight and/or dimension fields, your eBay label will always be more expensive than the price you get using the correct details.

A simple keystroke error can add heaps to postage charges - eg. For a 0.8kg parcel, if the decimal point is missed on data entry, it becomes an 8kg parcel... but if you pay for postage over the counter, you'll only be charged for an 800g parcel

Easy fix - don't use eBay labels.

I wouldn't use Sendle either.

All my items fit in standard AP flat-rate satchels and I get discounts through MyPost Business.

Thanks for your suggestion. But my item is light weight and larger volume. Sendle can be better option. However, the cost for postage label is too expensive whatever via post office or Sendle. It used to be much cheaper. I don’t know whether is system problem or not. I will post item through Sendle on websites. Thanks again for your help

Thanks for your reply, my input is all correct. The cost for postage label via Sendle is $25 and the cost in Sendle via website is only $13.60. Ebay has claimed 15% off but it looks much more expensive. I don’t know what is wrong with ebay.

You are obligated to use whatever postage method the buyer selects at checkout. If you're not sure, I suggest you check. You'll see it clearly on the order details page or the packing slip.

If they chose AP and you decide to use Sendle, I hope you're prepared for the likelihood of a glowing red dot on your feedback page.
