Shop: blue door, red door

I know this has been brought up before and most think there is no rhyme or reason for it, but there must be. My door 3 days ago was blue for one day then I had 2 red days now I'm back to blue. I want to know what the deal is, it's annoying me. Any ideas?

If you don't care that's fine, why bother answering if you have no suggestion. This is something I'm curious about and I have no other issues to worry about..And yes it has now changed to red.

You answered for the sake of answering not to offer a suggestion apart from worry about something else. I'm sure you have other posts to share your wisdom on. I will ask a question on any board I like if you don't like it then please don't answer in my threads.

As far as your OP goes, anybody can answer with their opinion, especially when it is a 'question' that no board member can answer. Which is what I did. With an opinion which is probably more valid than the original post.

It is something that happens all the time, it has for years, it is never any different. Don't sweat it.

It thrives on OPs commeting on it. it makes it feel important IMO .... lololol

Often it has sidekicks ....

I have pondered on the red and blue doors and wonder why they change colors from time to time too - I reckon what a waste of effort if it actually means nothing ... surely they can spend their billions on something that is a little more exciting

Maybe the door colours are a diversionary tactic, and while people try to Sherlock what the deal is, eBay will sneak in some other confounding change. Like the watch count - why are some showing in standard grey text, but others show in bold orange? I know it's not due to number of watchers, cos sometimes it's the lower ones that are orange...so why, eBay, why?

(An eBay rep has been quoted as saying it's simply a design change, but maybe the person behind it has artistic mood swings. )

Started a non-payer limerick myself (surprise, surprise) .. but could not get past first line, I once had a pesky non-payer .......

But as it makes me very cross to think about non-payers, I go into decline and lose my creativity.

On Topic - Op there is a thread about the doors on ebay US discussion boards - some "interesting" takes on what others think, on one an ebay rep makes some comments that tell you nothing much at all.
