You won't be paying insertion fees unless you have over 40 items listed in a calendar month. what you pay is a final value fee when you sell your item. I think it's 9.9% it's gone up, but we don't pay insertion fees like we used to

I pay 5c per 30 day listing. Currently I have 80 free listings per month, but next month I will have 200.

Maybe look at your business model? At 20c per listing (non-media) from next month you will get 500 freebies for $50. So 10c per 30 day BIN listing.

i pay for a lot of listings, but that is my choice.

I think it's pretty fair actually. at the moment I get 200 free, I pay for over 450. come next month I will get 500 free pay for about 150. can't complain about that.
