Non paying buyers are a huge and out of control growing problem. It has become the way to increase your feedback score at the sellers expence.

We have long term buyers that pay once a month , once every two months and we are very happy with these buyers.

So it creats a problem to set an automatic eBay approach to the non payers.

With the way the feedback system is positioned for the buyer, they are highly exposed to receiveing a neg feedback from a hostile non payer that has been asked or forced to pay and it is an ugly reality.

It is well and truly over time for the eBay system to address this systemic issue. It is becoming more and more of a problem.

The more these non payers get away with it the more they are doing it.............

It has become apart of the eBay culture! An acceptable thing to do!

I don't have a huge problem with them myself *touch wood* but I do have all my blocks in place which probably weeds a lot out. I would look at what blocks you have in place and look at what you can adjust.

If the more sellers lodge NPB disputes the less the bidders will be able to buy unless they keep starting new ID's which is a PITA at the best of times.

I too have very few non payers. I do have a note in many of my listings asking buyers who are not going to pay within 4 days by Paypal to contact me asap so they can be exempted from the automated unpaid item proceedure. I also have some regular buyers many who pay by bank deposit so they are on my exemption list without them having to contact me.
