topic PAYING FEES ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING in Selling

Anyone else paying huge fees on shipping due to selling to international buyers. My fee percentage at the end of the month is over 14%. I do understand Ebay needs to be making money, but fees on shipping I just don't understand, especially charging fees on an item that is posted internationally, it's crippling to sellers. I like to offer worldwide shipping, as I sell collectables and there are collectors around the world which buy my items, but international shipping costs are extremely high, and paying fees on these extremely high international shipping costs just seems totally unfair. I don't think sellers should be penalised just because they ship worldwide.
I'd like to know why US sellers don't have to pay FVF on international postage but Australian sellers do. How fair is that?

i agree.

But I made the decision years ago that secondhand paperbacks would not attract any overseas buyers. So I don't give thjem the chance.
