I'd be a bit suspicious of someone making you s high offer like this. Smells of potential scam to me. Why don't they just put in a bid like anyone else and set their max bid to $85 if that's what they are prepared to pay for it. There could be a bidding war between your current bidder and the offerer and it could go for more than $85. To me that's what auctions are all about.

I have listed an item for $10 to which someone has bid this so I am selling. I have 5 days to go until the end of the auction and another buyer has offered me $85. However, I can't seem to go and add the option of "Make an Offer".

Is there anyone who knows if I can do this and accept the $85.00 and not wait until the auction has ended

or

Do I have to just wait until the auction has ended and hope that I get to that $85.00 at the end of the auciton?

Once a bid is placed, very little can be revised in a listing.

If you can get confirmation the buyer wants to BIN, then you can end the listing cancelling the bid and relist as a fixed price BIN.

Then message the buyer with the item number.

too late now, once you have a bid.....why doesn't the future 'buyer' put a bid on for $85?
