Can Anyone Help Identifying These Items

Hi All

Was wondering if anyone can Identify these items They both have a Lead Base with what looks like brass nails and very sharp They look like a butchers block scraper but I think they are too small. The larger od the 2 is 4 inches long by 1 inch wide The lead base is 1/4 inch thick and the brass nails are 1/2 inch long, The small one is 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter any help I would be very grateful.

They appear to be florists' blocks for securing flower stems - they go in the base of a vase.

Thanks guys I had no real Idea what they were are the still available? are they old? do you think they would sell on Ebay?

I wouldn't think they would be saleable. Today people use foam, which is light, can be cut to shape, and absorbs water.
