I had a message in my email from ebay, but when i went to see if it was in messages in ebay it was not, is this a scam.

But you have seen the email and if it is not also in your eBay messages, hopefully you did not click on any links it in

Was the email claiming you made a purchase/need to confirm something?

I don't think I have ever had an email message from eBay that wasn't in eBay messages.

I had a buyer question last week that did not show in my ebay messages only in my email account. Not sure how often it happens as i rely on ebay messages for any questions i receive.
