With electronic equipment you are much better off buying from a store rather than online.

Warranties can't be enforced buying online unless it's from JB, Kmart, the big chains etc.

Also like you say, you get to check the item before paying.

Hey everyone, has anyone had any experience with VR equipment and can give me an advice? I'm thinking of buying a 2nd-hand equipment for my personal use either from here or from a local VR centre https://virivr.com.au/ here in Melbourne. Is there anything i should be aware of and is it better to buy from local guy to make sure I have a chance to check everything and if yes for what I should look out for. Thanks in advance!

Also you need to make sure your computer can run the specs of the VR unit you are considering.

VR units work differently in terms of the hardware so you need to look at what suits you.

There is also some talk about people getting motion sickness if you are inclined to become seasick on boats.
