Hi All,

Two questions:

1) After a sale, are we allowed to give customers links to our social media?

2) If we are allowed, is there an effective way to do this other than messaging the buyer with the link?

Thanks in advance,

Lyn

1. There is nothing stopping you communicating with the buyer off-site, but eBay frown on attempts to deal off-eBay, so I wouldn't do it through eBay messages.

2. Why is a link inefficient?

I include a business card which includes my email address with all purchases. It is up to the buyer whether or not they utilise that information. Very few do.

Thanks for that. I just thought it would look better with the social media icon, as opposed to a link. I thought about including a business card in the package, but thought a link on an email might have more chance of being used as it is just a click to do it. No harm in putting a card in the package, though. Thanks again.
