Is Ebay aware of the pop-up scam on the 'My Ebay' page?

It is very clever because it looks like it is part of the process of setting up an Ebay account, which I have been doing. It asked for your credit card details. I have just been notified by my bank that it is a scam and some small amounts (luckily) have been taken from that account.

If Ebay is aware please remove it ASAP

eBay will only be aware of it if people are reporting it TO eBay

Are you sure you were on the official eBay website or did you possibly click on a link in a phishing email?

To add to what I have said - this has never happened to me, that's why I was wondering if it might be a fake site.

I don't know if what the OP experienced happened to anybody else. Maybe if someone else experienced the same problem, they can share their opinion here.
