Has eBay feedback policy changed ??

A few months ago I received a negative feedback which was a product review.
I complained to eBay as the feedback policy stated that feedback reviews are not to be about the product itself.
Ebay customer service accepted this and the feedback was removed.

Now I can no longer see this policy. Does anyone know for sure if it was changed and perhaps have a copy of the previous policy.

The only bits that look vaguely appropriate are in the Feedback for sellers help page.

Quoting:

❝Every time you buy something on eBay, you can leave a positive, neutral or negative Feedback rating about your experience. You can also add a comment about your experience, or rate specific aspects of the transaction – including whether the item arrived on time, the accuracy of the item description, postage costs and the seller's communication.❞

and

❝If you do decide to leave negative Feedback, make sure it's fair and factual, and relates specifically to the transaction.❞

But that obviously doesn't specifically state that the feedback shouldn't be the same as a product review.

There is also the Product reviews help page, which states:

❝Report a product review

We monitor reviews for violations of our community content policy and will remove any if they are inappropriate, inaccurate or unrelated to the product.

If you feel that a product review displayed on your listing is inappropriate or incorrectly matched, you can report it to us and we’ll investigate. Here's how:

1. On your listing, select the exclamation mark beneath the review.

2. Select the reason the review is inappropriate.

3. Select Send.❞

But other than that, nothing.

It's not only possible, but highly likely that the relevant policy has had its wording changed since you last saw it. eBay tinker all the time, and those individual policies can have subtle to blatant changes made without users necessarily being informed of it.
