***New look and functionality for Online Customer Support***

Over the coming weeks, you may notice an upgrade to the Customer Support section on eBay.com.au. Online Customer Support is accessible by clicking the Customer Support link at the top right of every page.

Along with a new look and feel (similar to Customer Support on eBay.com) the upgrade supports new functionality and ‘self-service’ tools , all aimed at providing users with greater opportunity to find an answer to their question in the quickest possible way.

Access to phone, email or chat with Customer Support Agents will of course remain and the recently introduced ‘We’ll call you’ functionality will also be upgraded. Emma, the Automated agent will however be retired as part of this upgrade.

The upgrade will commence today with everyone having access to the new portal by the end of July 2012. As members interact with the new portal and we better understand how and why it’s being used we’ll continue to look for opportunities to improve the experience.
