Hi - I have an email linked to eBay that was cancelled due to the provider (iiNet) no longer supporTing email and the phone number in my account is a land line so I can’t receive the confirmation of change text.

I have had 5 chats to live agent and even though I have FULL access to an account I have had since 1998 they all just hang up the chat and tell me to create a new account - **bleep**

Surely there is someone at eBay that can help me change my info

Is there a mobile number you could use ?

There's a drop down box option in your contact info to change from phone type: landline to mobile.

Then click "save" .

Oddly enough for an account with a landline requiring verification, a message shows:

"If verification is required, you agree to receive a pre-recorded call to this number"

so probably inexperienced eBay agents is the reason this hasn't been mentioned to you.
