    <title>Question Postage costs in Packaging &amp; Shipping</title>
    <link>https://community.ebay.com.au/t5/Packaging-Shipping/Postage-costs/qaq-p/429389</link>
<description>&lt;P class="mce-p"&gt;Hi, I purchased an item&amp;nbsp; paying by paypal then when I received it, it was faulty.&amp;nbsp; The fault was not mentioned in the listing.&amp;nbsp; The seller has reluctantly agreed for me to return the item however has said that only the purchase price of the item will be refunded and not the postage paid.&amp;nbsp; Therefore I am out of pocket because I have paid postage to receive the faulty item and then paid postage to send back the item to the seller.&amp;nbsp; The listing does say that the seller will only refund the cost of the item.&amp;nbsp; To me this seems a little harsh and unfair for a buyer to have to pay two lots of postage for a situation that is beyond their control.&amp;nbsp;Does any one know if this is supported by ebay or did this seller just make this decision? Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
