https://community.ebay.com.au/t5/Packaging-Shipping/Seller-fees-on-postage/qaq-p/1233413 <P>I see now that ebay charges a final value fee on postage.&nbsp; Is this legal?&nbsp; The way I read it, ebay is charging me to use Australia Post.&nbsp;</P><P>I understand and have seen in the past, an item worth say, $20 (postage normally say $5) being sold for $2 + $25 postage in order to avoid ebay seller fees.</P><P>I feel like I am being punished for not including the price of postage in the cost of the item and listing 'free postage'.&nbsp; If I only sell something for $2, I should only be charged fees on the $2.
