why is it eBay delivery is slow compare to Amazon ?

I have ordered item from Syd to Canberra and paid on 9th Jul but it will be delivered to me on 18th where as Amazon delivery takes only 1 or 2 days max unless international.

eBay do not deliver anything

You are shown the estimated delivery date on every listing before you buy

What is the item number?

Because most items on Amazon come from an Amazon fulfillment centre they can arrange a special deal with Ozpost/ couriers. Economy of scale.

You are buying from an individual seller, not eBay.

Is the 18th locked in or the latest estimated delivery date?

Please note that AP allow 2-6 days for parcel delivery, so 7 business days would probably mean ONE day handling, depending on how late on Tuesday you bought. eBay's estimated delivery times include the seller's handling time plus the carrier's estimated delivery time.

I have a 3 day handling time. My buyers often get their item before the FIRST estimated delivery date.

If the seller posted on Wednesday, you should have had it today, as Sydney to Canberra generally takes 2 days. Failing that, when you get it on Monday please come back and apologise.
