The buyer contacted me about 2 weeks later stating the item hadn't been received. A search of the tracking number showed it had been delivered to Surrey Hills 2 days after I posted it by "safe drop" (whatever that is, I did not request it). The buyer contacted Australia Post and was told it was signed by a person unknown to either of us. She opened an appeal, which eBay has just found in her favour because I apparently did not deliver it to the correct address. How can a standard 3kg satchel be signed for when it was not an item that required a signature?
