Question Ebay store vs no store in Selling on eBay

I have a lot of items for sale on my Ebay store, most around the $4 mark. At the moment I lose about 20% on each sale in fees. I make about $200-250 per month in sales so not a huge amount.

At what point is it worth opening up a store? I know it won't make me sell more, but my concern is more the seller fees. I don't want to increase my prices because I'm staying competitive, but I'm not making a huge profit after the fees are taken out.

What are your thoughts?

132 items = no point in having a store. Generally.

Depending on the category, the fee discounts are unlikely to cover the store fees.

I have a store which costs me about $25 per month, taking into account the minimal store discounts for my category. I keep it because I prefer to use my own categories and for professionalism. Which seems to work as I've never had a neg in 15 years.

Ultimately it is up to you. Horses for courses.
