How do I change my email address????

Hi All,

I have tried to change my email address on ebay but for some reason the personal account page keeps crashing. I have tried to do it on Edge, Chrome and Firefox and no luck. I even downloaded the ebay app and got as far as entering my new email address and when I attempt to verify it comes up with 'Oops! something went wrong'.

Anyone have any ideas how to achieve this feat!!!

You may need the old “clear cache”, possibly together with “cookies”, and if still an issue, a “hard refresh” may be in order.

Are you doing this on a smart device/smart phone, or on a desktop computer?

I cleared the caches in the browsers in one of my attempts without any joy. Still didn't work. I am using the app on an iPhone. I have been trying to change my email address for the past month without any luck.

Can you try to do this on a computer? The app is known to be glitchy… Or you could try to use the desktop version of eBay on Safari or Edge or other browser on your phone – not the mobile version of eBay if you can manage to switch at the bottom of the browser.

I have been using the browsers on my desktop (Win 10). Using your suggestion I logged onto ebay using safari on my mobile. Come up with the same error. I am out of ideas at this time.

Perhaps try a different internet connection…?
