Bulk Edit of Item Description
I have done a bulk edit of all my eBay listings in which I tried to change a couple of lines in my Descriptions. I followed the instructions but the lines have not been changed after more than a week.

OP2 years agoYes they were. A possible complication is that I think I had worded the line I wished to change differently on some of the items. Perhaps if there were two different wordings eBay might have ignored all of them because the wording didn't apply to them all.

·2 years agoI haven’t done a bulk edit for a while, but last time I did, I had to scroll down to find ‘apply’ (or something similar)

OP2 years agoI pressed Apply (or similar but to no effect). I will give it more thought. I really don't fancy manually changing almost a thousand entries but I may have no choice.

·2 years agoUnfortunately I never could get the "find and replace" option to work properly, although I tried several times over a period of a couple of years.
I have read that editing using HTML rather than the text version may work, but as I know nothing about it, that option wasn't possible for me.
When we needed to edit our description in all listings I just ended up bulk editing them manually using copy and paste - very time consuming, but necessary at the time.
It wasn't on this account, but on our larger selling account with over 2000 listings at the time, so I did it over a period of a week or so.
