Have not received payment
Hi all, I sold an item on eBay yesterday, the lady came and picked it up and I could not scan the QR code but I did enter the number she had on my device. EBay says 24 hours for funds to be transferred but I still haven’t received the money yet after one day. On top of this I sold the item for $900 and eBay takes $120 in fees. Is all normal, I haven’t sold anything on eBay for years.

$120 sounds right considering final value fees are 13.4% + .30c

Transaction holds for new or infrequent sellers apply even for pick up items as a buyer can still open an 'item not as described' claim

eBay occasionally pay out earlier when the buyer's left feedback so in working hours you could try asking through eBay Help at the top of the page. Ask to speak to an agent

You have not sold on eBay in years
Hence you will be seen as a ‘new’ seller and your funds on hold for 14-30 days, as you agreed to when listing
Given it is a high priced item and you have not sold in so long, it would be hugely unlikely the funds would be released early
Assuming you have signed up to Managed Payments and have been verified to sell?
