Request on cancellation

Need some help as a seller on ebay as I am not finding what I need help with on the website. Ive purchased a postage label but had some problems with my understanding of printing it and stuff as this is my first time selling an item. So then I saw a button on the app giving me the option to cancel the postage label, to then receive the costs back from the purchase of it. It's been almost a week and there's been no update on it. This isn't a return item as well its just posting the item as per normal. If anybody has requested for cancellation of the purchase of postage label like this please let me know how long it took for them to email or say your request is approved.

·1 year agoHi there, from memory you have 5 days to cancel a label, and it sounds as if you have done that. You will not be refunded until AP advise ebay that the label was not used, I think the last I heard this was taking about 60 days.

·1 year agoI believe it is your handling time PLUS the latest of the carrier's estimated delivery times. Or it might be 5 working days (1 week). I don't use eBay labels these days, and even when I did I never cancelled one.
This ensures you didn't actually use the label.
In the meantime I hope you have sent the item. Otherwise you will likely be pinged for late delivery and your selling career will be over before it starts.
Have you signed up for Managed Payments? If you don't you will never see any money.

·1 year agoAlso, I believe you won't be refunded for 25 days after a successful cancellation.
