Seller says they can't find returned item.
G'day,
After a discussion with a seller, I sent a faulty item back to the provided address in China.
Tracking shows the item as being delivered on 31st July (9 days ago), but seller keeps telling me they can't find it and asking for more time. They've been sent a screen shot of the tracking.
Listing says "returns accepted through 14 August" which is getting a bit close for comfort.
What can I do now?
Cheers
Mal

·2 years agoIf it's the one OP left neutral feedback for, and they say they sent it back to china. Than they enjoy buying from business's with poor feedback, so it's a self imposed problem. You would think they would learn, I did have fun reading some of the negs they have left for sellers.

OP2 years agoI do check feedback, but this was the only place, at the time, these cables were available and I didn't particularly want to throw a couple of thousand dollars worth of drone and accessories in the rubbish bin.

·2 years agoThat sounds like you may have had a lucky escape
Buying what was more than likely unbranded/knock off cables from a dodgy as seller could have quite possibly caused damage or destroyed the drone totally
Why would you need to throw it away, rather than wait until they were available from a genuine seller?
Buying whatever from whoever would end the same way

·2 years agoDid you go through the eBay MBG, or did you just do 'what the seller said' ?

OP2 years agoThanks for rapid reply.
Being a trusting type person, I just did as the seller said. Except I didn't send it cheapest airmail possible and payed for tracking.
What is MBG?

·2 years agoYou have the proof the item was delivered.
Do not make contact with the seller again.
Have you opened a case for item not as described - if not do so immediately - and add the return tracking - and get a refund.
