Sendle and Courier's Please
I've been trying to find a way to officially complain about ebay recommending Sendle and Couriers Please as delivery services to sellers. They both have a 1 star average rating and have so many complaints online about them stealing or losing packages.
It's making me not want to buy from Ebay anymore because so many sellers are using these delivery services.

The issue of feedback scores on eBay is problematic. As said, experienced eBayers generally consider that 90% for a high volume seller is bad.
This is because of both the way in which the percentages are calculated by eBay, and the human behaviour factors. Feedback is skewed by buyers doing the following:
While some of the above will drag feedback down, more of the factors will tend to reduce negatives. Worse – when some high-volume Chinese eBay sellers, for instance, see the feedback score dragged down too much, they simply “rest” that particular account for a while and in the meantime use one of their other accounts.
I consider 99.5% as a good minimum for high volume sellers, but that’s not set in stone. Using it as my guideline, though, I make informed decisions about the sellers from whom I buy, and I never fall for the Top Rated “one of our most trusted” fluffy nonsense automatically generated for many a seller on eBay from whom I’d not buy.
Re couriers and deliverers - people’s experiences vary. In some suburbs and areas, a particular courier company may be spectacularly awful; in others, it may be fine. I am fortunate in having very few postage / delivery issues.

·1 year agoEbay like any business can suggest anyone they like, who do you think you could complain to.
More importantly complain about buyers who insist on buying from sellers with feedback down in the gutter, oh thats you, where can you complain about yourself. Stop recommending dodgy sellers, please
Just an interesting question, you do have evidence that they are stealing packages, thats a strong assumption, and hope you have reported them to the police.

OP1 year agoHi,
What dodgy sellers have I recommended? I'm happy to go back and remove my review if they are actually dodgy. I review based on my experience and only buy from sellers with over 90% positive feedback. At least in the last year, can't speak to back when I was like 18.
And I don't personally have evidence, but I saw accusations of that when I looked up google reviews. My experience with both delivery services is them not delivery the package even though I am home. I booked a redelivery with Couriers please and had a confirmation email about it but turns out that was false because it got returned to sender.

·1 year agoYou standards are low, and if you read some of the reasons for negatives
So you are basing your accusation of stealing on peoples reviews, not your own experience or evidence, I would like to see you stand up in court.

OP1 year agoWhy are you being so rude? You could have just politely told me. I'm not the one who allows these sellers to do dodgy things ebay is. I review sellers well based on my own experience with them, I'm sorry other people have had bad experiences with them.
And in my original post I said they had complaints online saying that, I never said they stole from me. You can look up reviews if you want.
I just came here asking for help on making a complaint. It's crazy how I got turned on instead of the company that is actually at fault. You're right, me not checking every single review on a seller is the same as a multi-million dollar company recommending a delivery service with a 1.4 google review average to its sellers. I know ebay recommends them to sellers because I asked the one I bought my last item from.
This is the last time I come to the community for help, **bleep**.

·1 year agoI doubt you can. eBay do not take suggestions from anyone
BUT
The seller chooses who they use
Who they use is shown before buying, you do not have to buy from sellers who use them
A bigger worry is the dodgy sellers you so often choose to buy from
The one who left you feedback just recently, 16 negs in the past month alone
Even many of the seller in Australia you support have horrific feedback
A little odd you happily support dodgy sellers but then complain about dodgy couriers
Less buyers supporting dodgy sellers and helping them stay in business is a good thing

·1 year agoSandy, in their wisdom, eBay have removed the "postage" link next to the "about this item" link in the description, so unless the seller specifically states what postal system they use it's very hard to see which it is. Unless the buyer specifically asks the seller.

·1 year agoTo improve the eBay experience no doubt 🙄
Personally, if I had concerns such as this, I would send the seller a message and ask
I have never had an issue with Couriers Please (touch wood) and personally found them better than AP with a number of deliveries

·1 year agoYou are right Padi. Discovered this the other day and was not happy. I messaged 2 sellers to ask whom they used sand neither replied. Will not buy if I don't know how something is coming.

OP1 year agoI'm really confused, what dodgy sellers have I bought from?
I went back and checked and everyone I've reviewed has over a 90% positive feedback average that I have also had good experiences with.
Not saying you are lying, just wondering what sellers are you referring to?
