An Ebay buyer has put my mobile number in his profile by mistake
As a result of him having my mobile number in his profile, Auspost are senting me all the package tracking info. The address is his, as is the name, I'm just trying to find a way to notify him to check and update his profile phone number correctly.

When I send a parcel my post office always puts my mobile number when printing the receipt. I've given up asking her to not do this - however it has come in handy when a parcel hasn't been collected. APO notify me and I then email the buyer via ebay.

·10 months agoThat's exactly what I posted. The mobile phone number for tracking updates is provided by the seller - not the buyer.

·10 months agoPersonally I'd send him an eBay message
Kind of baffled as to how he managed to put his name and address but your phone number by 'mistake'
🤔
Unless he just didn't want to get text messages about the purchase

·10 months agoFrom the order details page, click on the blue "Message buyer" button... although, there's not much he can do about it, since the seller rather than the buyer provides the mobile number for tracking updates

·10 months agoSend him an SMS 🤣
Seriously though... you could send a message through eBay messages or perhaps even send him a letter

·10 months agoYour best bet might be to contact A.P. through their website, who can then contact them.
…..or check if they have a landline
