As I live 40km from the closest Post Office is it possible to NOT require a signature
We only get mail deliveries every 2nd day & we don't drive to town as it's 40km away

Mail is delivered every second day - sign.

Other members here have no control over what other sellers ask for
But there again, if the item is over a certain $$$ amount, then a signature will always be required
