Dont buy the Pfaff Computerised sewing Machines IN AUSTRALIA , Even if sold from another country ,
Reason when computer parts go they have not been made since the late 1990s they are only repairable and only 2 or 3 companies/repairers in world i found , 1 in Britain , a couple in US , BUT you are required to either send complete machine OR the computer boards namely motherboard , etc which involves removing them to send . Cost to do all of this becomes exorbitant.
The 7500 series was brought out 1990 to 1992 approx.
I KNOW THIS as i bought a used Pfaff 7550 and it is most definitely great machine but could not be repaired in Australia , i rang contacts all over the globe and Pfaff also , they refuse to allow use of computer diagrams of the Pfaff 7500 series available to any one as of the late 1990s due cost and hassles i unfortunately had to throw away the machine i paid a very high price as a used machine mid 1990s .
I will never buy a computerised sewing machine as i believe we are being conned as to cost and pricing.

·2 years agoSorry to say, but everything you buy soon will have a computer chip in it. You are talking about a 30 plus year old machine, not many companies support a product over that period,

OP2 years agoYes exactly BUT these used Pfaff series 7500 series are being sold for very large $ and if ANY computer part fails
they are NOT repairable(for an affordable price )
as computer diagrams are only held by about 2 to 3 repair companies in the world
and it involves SOOO much hassle to do it i TRIED believe me when i had the 7570 it is a fabulous machine BUT repairs are the issue. thankyou .
