I am in Queensland Australia where the Government has just placed a ban on the sale of knives / blades and hence my problem. When I put the pedestal fan blade into my cart a government message appears and the purchase cannot be completed.

·1 year agoWell at least your government are looking after you. If you get a knife, you might hurt yourself. All other states and territories obviously don't care if you cut yourself. Shame on them. 😶

OP1 year agoTried today to buy a 12 inch plastic fan blade 3 leaves, still rejected because of new knife/blade ban in Queensland . You're being to restrictive eBay.

You have had several replies since you posted a similar comment last month
Nothing has changed
Buy from a real store, a real store's website or another website if it is still causing you issues after a month and you are still trying when you know what the result will be before you even try
And it is still not a 'new' 'ban'

·1 year agoJust tried multiple items using your search criteria. Was able add numerous items to cart or use buy now.
Only had 2 items come up with the message for Qld knife restrictions, and in both cases item specifics stated items were modified.

It is not a technical issue, it is because it has the word blade in the title
You could contact the seller and ask if they can 'rephrase' the title/remove the 'offending word'
It is not something other members can do anything about
